Wouldn't it be cool if...

Downtown and the south side of Edmonton were better connected? If pedestrians, cyclists and streetcars shared the same path? If families, students, seniors and visitors shared an amazing linear park in the centre of our city?

WHAT'S HIGH LEVEL LINE?

High Level Line is an unsolicited proposal to stitch diverse neighbourhoods together in central Edmonton and create an unforgettable experience along the way. The award-winning vision includes a 4 km long linear park that makes better use of the old rail corridor and the top of the High Level Bridge.

High Level Line Society

What started as an unsolicited proposal has turned into a movement. Following the public reveal of the idea in 2017, the outpouring of support led to the creation of the High Level Line Society. We haven’t lost momentum, and we’re doing what we can to bring the vision to life, incrementally.

“It’s truly exciting to imagine this linear park as a gathering place overlooking our breathtaking valley and connecting our city.”

-Mayor Don Iveson on High Level Line
